I enjoy putting together booklists for my children to complement the season we’re in. These Springtime read-alouds are some of my daughter’s (5 yrs old) favorite read-alouds because she is drawn to beautiful flowers, butterflies and the outdoors, which we emphasize plenty in our spring readings together. Mostly, we check out our books from our local library, but when we find a book that we just fall in love with and want to read over and over again, I will purchase it, adding to our very own, and ever-growing home library.
