I’ve shared all about our homeschool plans and curriculum choices for 2024-2025, but today I want to share with you our 2024-2025 homeschool supply list!

While we almost always need to replenish printer paper and pencils, every year I have a few additional supplies I look forward to getting to feel prepped and prepared for another homeschool year.
Supply List for Mom
- Basics 3-Ring Binder, 1-inch in white: I use a simple binder to combine all our master schedules, curriculum overviews, loose papers for map work, artist studies, and additional planning inserts from the Homeschool Curriculum Planner to keep track of future curriculum considerations, book lists, and more. I’ve shared about my master homeschool binder before in this blog article.
- Mr. Pen Binder Dividers with pockets and tabs: I chose these dividers this year because I needed a place to store loose papers without having to hole-punch them into my binder.
- VICO Gel Pens – 0.5 Quick Dry: These are some of my favorite planner pens to use! They are so smooth and dry quickly.
- Mr. Pen Dual Tip Highlighters: Highlighters come in handy for so many things in our homeschool including highlighting my planner, and marking pages in our curriculum for my oldest to grab and know what to do independently. I also use these highlighters in my Bible studies and commonplace organizing.
- Ipad Case: We’ve been using our iPad more in our homeschool week for math drills, map work, and documentaries so it was time to update the case on it.
Supplies for My Children
- First Illustrated Grammar and Punctuation: As my Year 4 begins formal dictation and grammar lessons, I believe this will be a useful quick reference guide in lessons.
- Merriam-Webster Dictionary and Thesaurus: Several of our lessons will require us to look up words in the dictionary and thesaurus, so it’s about time we own our own! We also love this one!
- Washi Tape Set: Although our narration notebooks are all lined, if there is ever a desire or need to illustrate a narration, they can draw on regular paper (I’ve pre-cut printer paper into smaller square-size sheets to have available), and then we can tape the illustrations right into their narration notebooks.
- Make Your Own Yoto Player Cards: I grabbed a pack of MYO Yoto Cards so we can add some of our literature readings to listen to as audio or follow along with our physical books! *(Get 10% off your first purchase (Minimum spend of $69.99) when you use my referral link above).*
- Handheld Fan: I thought this would be a silly thing to have on hand for lesson time, but our little handheld fans really have come in handy during those math lessons (does anyone else get hot when they’re doing something new and uncomfortable?). I’m grabbing another one for my second student!
- Vincent Van Gogh Magnetic BookMarks: My oldest always needs extra bookmarks so this year I thought these magnet bookmarks would be a simple little “back to homeschool” gift for her. As one of her favorite artists, these Vincent Van Gogh magnets will be perfect for her!
- 5.5″ x 8.5″ Sketchbook with Top Spiral: We’ve used these notebooks for nature journals over the last few years and we’re ready for some more!
- Fabriano EcoQua Large Staple-Bound Line Notebooks: We came across these notebooks when shopping for craft supplies and like using them for narration notebooks because they lay flat and they’re inexpensive! We found them at Joann’s Craft Store and with an in-store coupon, I walked out paying $2 a notebook!
We’re still mostly stocked on our art and craft supplies thanks to Christmas and birthday gifts from loved ones so this year our supply list doesn’t look so much like a traditional, ordinary supply list, but a selection of materials and supplies for smoother homeschool days.
What’s on your supply list for the homeschool year?
